Jeep Hardtop Warranty

Effective Date: August 6, 2026

Camper King USA stands behind the hardtops we build. This Limited Hardtop Warranty explains the coverage for new Camper King USA-branded fiberglass hardtops purchased directly from Camper King USA on or after the effective date.

1. Who is covered

This warranty covers the original retail purchaser while that purchaser owns the hardtop. It is not transferable. An order number, invoice, or other reasonable proof of purchase is required. Registration is optional and is not a condition of coverage.

For this warranty, “lifetime” means the period during which the original purchaser owns the hardtop. It does not mean the purchaser's lifetime or an unlimited service life for components subject to wear.

2. Lifetime structural fiberglass coverage

Camper King USA warrants the structural fiberglass shell against defects in materials or workmanship that cause structural cracking, separation, or delamination during normal on-road use.

This structural coverage does not extend to surface crazing, minor print-through, ordinary cosmetic variation, impact damage, collision or rollover damage, off-road contact, overloading, or a condition caused by installation, vehicle-body alignment, modification, neglect, or misuse.

3. Three-year component coverage

For three years from delivery or customer pickup, Camper King USA warrants the Camper King USA-supplied hinges, latches, gas struts, mounting hardware, weather seals, and headliner adhesion against defects in materials or workmanship.

This coverage does not include normal wear, routine adjustment, normal seal compression, lost hardware, corrosion caused by chemicals or improper care, glass breakage, or components supplied by another manufacturer.

4. Two-year original-finish coverage

For two years from delivery or customer pickup, Camper King USA warrants the original Camper King USA-applied finish against abnormal blistering, peeling, or loss of adhesion caused by a manufacturing defect.

Ordinary fading, chalking, color variation, stone chips, scratches, environmental exposure, chemicals, pressure washing, neglect, body-shop work, and customer- or third-party-applied paint are not covered. Paint-match finishes may differ from an older or previously repaired vehicle because vehicle paint changes over time.

5. 90-day Fit & Seal Support

For 90 days from delivery or customer pickup, Camper King USA will help diagnose alignment, wind-noise, and water-entry concerns. If we determine that a Camper King USA manufacturing defect or supplied seal or hardware caused the concern, we will provide an appropriate adjustment, replacement seal, replacement hardware, or other covered remedy.

A removable hardtop is not guaranteed to prevent every instance of water entry. Seal performance can be affected by installation, uneven mounting pressure, worn or damaged vehicle surfaces, body alignment, modifications, clogged drains, weather, and direct pressure-washer spray.

6. First-year freight assistance

For an approved structural fiberglass claim made within the first 12 months after delivery or pickup, Camper King USA will arrange or reimburse reasonable standard ground freight up to $250 within the contiguous United States when shipment of the hardtop is required for the approved remedy.

This assistance does not cover expedited service, packaging or crating, removal or reinstallation, storage, vehicle transportation, or freight outside the contiguous United States. Obtain written approval before incurring a freight expense.

7. What is not covered

This warranty does not cover:

• Normal wear, maintenance, adjustment, cosmetic aging, or minor appearance variations that do not affect structural function
• Glass breakage, including breakage caused by impact, installation, temperature shock, or vehicle movement
• Damage caused by collision, rollover, off-road impact, falling objects, vandalism, fire, flood, wind, hail, earthquake, or other outside events
• Improper installation, over-tightening, incorrect hardware, failure to maintain fasteners or seals, improper storage, abuse, neglect, or misuse
• Vehicle damage, prior repairs, body misalignment, aftermarket roll cages, racks, accessories, or modifications that interfere with fit or load the hardtop
• Drilling, cutting, structural alteration, unauthorized repair, or use beyond the product's intended purpose
• Freight or delivery damage, which must be handled under the freight-inspection and damage process
• Third-party products, which may be covered only by their manufacturer's warranty

The use of an accessory or modification does not by itself cancel all warranty coverage. This warranty does not cover a failure caused by that accessory or modification.

8. How to make a claim

1. Email [email protected] or call or text 1-619-796-3808.
2. Provide the purchaser's name, order number or proof of purchase, vehicle year and model, a description of the concern, and clear photographs or video showing the hardtop and affected area.
3. Do not ship, discard, modify, or repair the product until Camper King USA provides written instructions.

We aim to acknowledge a complete claim within two business days and normally provide an initial coverage determination within ten business days after receiving the requested information. Complex claims or claims requiring physical inspection may take longer.

9. Warranty remedies and costs

After confirming a covered defect, Camper King USA may, at its option, repair the product, provide replacement parts, replace the affected hardtop or component, or provide another remedy required by applicable law. Repair is the preferred remedy when it can restore the product to proper service.

Unless approved in writing, this warranty does not pay for diagnosis by another business, removal, reinstallation, paint blending, vehicle repair, packaging, travel, storage, loss of use, rental vehicles, missed trips, or other incidental or consequential costs. Freight is the purchaser's responsibility except for the first-year assistance described above or where applicable law requires otherwise.

A repaired or replacement product remains covered for the balance of the original warranty period; replacement does not restart the warranty period.

10. Other rights and earlier purchases

This is a limited warranty. The limitations and exclusions above apply only to the extent permitted by law. You may have additional rights that vary by state.

Orders placed before August 6, 2026 retain the warranty coverage represented at the time of purchase. This policy does not reduce an earlier customer's existing coverage. New benefits introduced by this policy apply to qualifying purchases made on or after the effective date unless Camper King USA agrees otherwise in writing.

The version of this warranty in effect on the order date will apply to that order. Camper King USA may update the policy prospectively, but a later version will not reduce coverage already attached to a completed purchase.
